After being laid off from working for the same company for 18 years as a graphic artist, I decided to venture out into the world on my own. It’s about time, too, I’ve been meaning to do this for what seems like a zillion years; and it would have to take me getting laid off to do it. I was too scared otherwise; you know, golden handcuffs and all. (That’s what we called all our benefits from our now deceased company.) But I know my stuff, I’ve had tons of experience and now I add web design and programming to my skill set.

Sure, it’s been a challenge, but fun too. So I thought I’d start a blog and write about my experiences, show my work and have some fun.
